Villa Songket

Songket is the traditional fabric beautifully woven with a mix of metallic and coloured thread. Traditionally reserved exclusively for royalty, today it is more widely worn by many Balinese, particularly for weddings and special ceremonies. This sense of occasion has been reflected in the eclectic, contemporary design of Villa Songket.

Location

Situated in the greater Seminyak district, the village of Umalas remains traditional and green with rice fields still dotted between residential neighbourhoods. Approximately 30 minutes drive from the international airport and 10 minutes to the beach, Villa Songket is conveniently close to the fine dining and shopping areas of Seminyak, Oberoi and Petitenget.

A short drive will transport you to gastronomic heaven with a myriad of world class restaurants such as Sarong, Metis, Sardine, Ku De Ta and Living Room along with favourites like Biku with its famous high tea, and the traditional feasts available at Made’s Warung or Sate Bali.
